It's complicated
I've just changed my relationship status on facebook to It's Complicated because that's exactly how it is. Everyone who spoke at orientation who said that you will meet your future spouse at law school: you would not want to use me as your rule proof (more stuff I'm learning in law school!)
Enough said. I will not bore you with the details.

People told you you would meet your spouse at law school? They told us that about half of our relationships would fall apart by the end of our first year. So far, they are right on the money.
I got the complete opposite message at UGA. They told us we would slowly regain our virginity as we spent every hour in the library and forgot that the opposite sex existed. However, I have bucked the trend and have managed to find a great girl here in Athens. She is cutting in to my library time but it is a small price to pay.
Don't be. My ex just finally changed his status from "single" to "in a relationship" on facebook, even though he's been with this girl for nearly a year. So now it's finally serious, I'm alone, and that's depressing.
The trend at my school is breakups as well....we're in our second year and already 2 marriages in my section have ended. I dated a lawyer - didn't go well!
